BARLOW writes: We regret to announce the death of Private Roger Clay of the Army Statistical and Records Centre, Middle East Command, who died in Aden on 4th March 1967, from injuries sustained in a traffic accident. Roger Clay came to us in June 1966 from the Junior Leaders' Battalion and soon settled down as a keen and happy member of the unit. His untimely death is a blow to us all. He was buried in the Military Cemetery, Little Aden, on 7th March with full military honours. Pallbearers and firing party were provided by the Ordnance Depot Aden, and a wreath was laid on behalf of the Director of Ordnance Services, and all ranks of the RAOC, by Lt.-Col. D. A. McEwan in the absence of the DDOS on tour.It is with regret that we announce the sudden death, on 1st January 1970, of Sergeant R. Adams, RAOC. An ex-Boy soldier, Ron Adams will be remembered by those who knew him, for the enthusiasm and willingness which he tackled life and his chosen career. Our sympathies are extended to Catherine his widow and his three young daughters on the tragic and sudden loss of a husband and father. Any details, memories or photographs that you may have would be most welcome.
