Andy Gemmel attained J/RSM whilst I was at the Jnldrs... I was detailed by the RSM to attend at the cookhouse each morning at 10.00 sharp to stop the riot when hot coco and cherry cake was put out for all the boys. Andy would attend on the dot of ten... not for discipline .. but to speak to all the younger boys in their first term... and his bit of cake .. he would say this is the best part of the day .. hot sweet coco and cake ... I met Andy a few times after his pass out in BAOR ...and have a laugh about the riots at the cookhouse door ... we agreed that it was just kids after a bit of cake ...
