Jim Ferguson wrote :  I received this (and the photo on the previous page) from Bob Izzard's mum, he was in Arnhem platoon between sept 78 and dec 79. Bob passed away last september and his mum was trying to find any of old friend, she also attached his posting profile. I would like this photo put onto the gallery, if anyone recognises Bob his mum would like to hear from them.  Any details, memories or photographs that you may have would be most welcome. Mrs. Barbara Izzard, Bob's Mother sent us these wedding photos and wrote: Family wedding group Jim ( the groom ) Bob's eldest brotherwho used to be in the R.A.F. has now rejoined the Territorials. This was the cause of his sudden death in July 2005 aged 43 years. Bob married and had two wonderful sons who were aged 3 and 7 at the time of his death. The family lived at Watchet in Somerset where Bob was very well known and well liked, he was also a member of Watchet Town Band and they played at his funeral.  Any details, memories or photographs that you may have would be most welcome.

Bob had a head injury accident whilst on exercise Crusader and was subsequently medically discharged with Epilepsy.
