BJ001p1.jpg - David Grover Jebson * 4 August 1954 - +30th May 1970 RAOC Junior Leader 1968 – May 1970 24145445 J/Pte David Grover Jebson died on the 30 May 1970, aged 15, following an accident at the Pirbright Training Area.Interned on 4 June 1970 at St. Barbara's Church Deepcut. Plot D-3; Row 1 J/Pte David Grover Jebson is the last Junior Leader remaining at Deepcut. I was Bn Ord Cpl in the JLB guard room , Monty Wood - the RSM - aked me to go with Maj Muson ATO and help recover the remains of David ... At the site of the incedent Major Mason had to clear a number of mortar rounds and energa blinds from the site before we could start .... On this day David was with his mate J/Cpl Peter Cox who was also badly injured. It was a sports day. I was 21, not much older than both of these kids.
