My father died in Saudi Arabia in 1998. My mother tells me he was posted to Borneo during the mid-1960s, which must have been pretty much straight after finishing his training. Waking up after a rather heavy drinking session, with a tattoo around his navel saying: 'Too hard to kill, Sarawak, Borneo'. He's survived by his wife and two boys, (me and my brother Michael).
