Obituary for MORSE, Lawson (Theo)

Morse_L.gif - Lawson (Theo) MORSE *15 August 1936 - †July 2006 RAOC Boy Soldier 1952-1954 Died at his home in Gloucester The photo - sent in by Colin Buckle - was taken after the 1960 Nijmegen March. I served with Theo Morse at 17 Rear Vehicle Depot RAOC, Moenchengladbach, Germany in the years 1958 - 1961. I found him a friendly and helpful Cpl - I was a Pte/Lcpl then. We were both members of the 1959 and 1960 Nijmegen March Team and I got to know him reasonably well. Although, to my mind, he was a quite and unassuming chap, he obviously enjoyed the Marches and the team's positive effort to always be the best. Colin Buckle, January 2012 Any details, memories or photographs that you may have would be most welcome.
