We both were sent to Barton Stacey to be trained as clerks,a trade we refused.we both went to Norton Manor 10 Trg Bn. and passed out as VM's. Last served together in1958,we met up again in 2008 and the conversation picked up as if he'd just come back of a 48. A great pal who I'll sorely miss.
