More » BI001p1.jpg - 24451851 Thomas Robert "Bob" Izzard *28 April 1962 - † July 2005 RAOC Apprentice in Arnhem Platoon 2 January 1979 - March 1980 Then: 16 AD Regiment Kirton in Lindsey & 12 AD Regiment Dortmund Bob passed awayat his home in Somerset (Photo shows Bob without his glasses) Bob had a head injury accident whilst on exercise Crusader and was subsequently medically discharged with Epilepsy. This was the cause of his sudden death in July 2005 aged 43 years. Bob married and had two wonderful sons who were aged 3 and 7 at the time of his death. The family lived at Watchet in Somerset where Bob was very well known and well liked, he was also a member of Watchet Town Band and they played at his funeral. Jim Ferguson wrote : I received this (and the photo on the previous page) from Bob Izzard's mum, he was in Arnhem platoon between sept 78 and dec 79. Bob passed away last september and his mum was trying to find any of old friend, she also attached his posting profile.
