Peter was my best mate at Haslar 1950/51. We were in the original Toy soldier display all over the southern command.We left Haslar with 35 other boys for man service and basic training at Blackdown including a driving course at Deepcut.I later lost contact with him until I approached army records for his whereabouts. He was in Singapore. We again lost contact and learned later he had died. He was born in Slough and lived there after he left the army.
