Obituary for EDDY, Reginald S.

More » PE001p1.jpg - S/Sgt. Reginald Stanley Eddy RAOC Bill Chamberlain writes: I have never forgotten Reg Eddy, or his family, from my posting to Hong Kong 1959-62. Reg, and his wife Margaret, kept a close eye on us "single guys" at Kowloon Tong and they would go out of their way to see we were OK. They also always put on an Xmas Party for some of us at their home. I am sure that there are many Junior Leaders (1964-67) who will also recall Reg with fondness as he was posted to the RAOC Junior Leaders Battalion following his stint in Hong Kong. I was saddened to see his entry in the Gazette, and that he passed away in 1970 as he could only have been in his 50's. A real gentleman, and a true family man. I wonder if his son Roger followed in his footsteps and joined the Corps. Any details, memories or photographs that you may have would be most welcome. PE001p2.jpg - S/Sgt.
