More » PG002p1.jpg - Barry S. Gritten * 16 JANUARY 1942 - † 21 JUNE 1973 Barry was a House Officer in A Company - Which House is not known Capt. B.S. (Barry) Gritten, aged 29, serving with 321 EOD. RAOCKilled while inspecting a large collection of explosives found in a Nissen hut near Lecky Road in Londonderry. As he carried out the inspection part of the collection exploded killing him and injuring three other soldiers. This photo of Capt Gritten was taken in 1962 whilst at Sandhurst as an Officer Cadet Any details, memories or photographs that you may have would be most welcome.
