March 1992 The photo is an excerpt taken from the Rugby album (SpRg001) of our Sports-gallery Around '67 I was left in the guard room alone for the first time as duty NCO , the Orderly Officer banged the door open .... and stood in the door was Capt Hurricane.. Norman. He did all the checks and ripped me to bits. As he left he asked for a coffee, sat down and said, "there laddie ... see how its done, mind me next time and always present your post however humble, in the best possible condition and you will never go wrong ... See I was provost Sgt one time and I know all the tricks". Good advice from a man who suffered no fools.
